The main goal of our office is to provide high quality performance without neglecting the economic aspect.
Our mission is to guarantee the highest quality of professionalism and expertise while offering the safest quality services at a transparent price.
Dentures are an outdated solution for those who have lost some or all of their teeth. Unfortunately, the removable prosthesis can be painful, annoying and uncomfortable. This type of prosthesis makes it difficult to chew various foods, which stops patients from eating the foods that they like. Dentures can also alter the articulation of words, therefore the way you speak.
Dental implants are devices which aim at functionally replacing tooth roots in patients, with a high degree of predictability and 94% success-rate. Such devices are made up of biocompatible materials; implants are well-accepted by the human body and a good hygiene routine ensures them good longevity rates. Among the plus of implant-based restoration we find the possibility to replace one or more single teeth lost due to traumatic events or periodontal desease; implants can also serve as support for prosthesis in edentulous patients. One among the key plus of implant-based prosthesis is the possibility to maintain the hard-tissue volume of the adjacent bone, thanks to the stimulation represented by the masticatory forces. The design and materials involved in dental implants ensure stability and comfort for a wide array of restoration treatment possibilities. Healty teeth are a key element for the patient well-being. Some of our patients tell us that they started to live again after the treatment. At CMOV Srl you will be able to access the latest and most advanced implant solutions. Several possibilities are available for the single patient. Suchs solutions will help you in improving the quality of of your well-being, allowing you to chew and speak properly, helping you regaining your self-esteem and encouraging you to re-discover the food you love.
Diode laser treatments are useful in oral surgery, periodontal treatments (tooth supporting tissues), and Endodontics (root canal treat-ment). They are capable of creating precision cuts in gingiva and other soft tissues while also eliminating bleeding at the site (hemostatic agent) and reducing the healing time for the patient. Soft tissue lasers are also ideal for troughing around preparations, sterilizing endodontic canals, treating periodontal disease and tooth whitening. Biostimulation based tools reduce post-surgical pain symptoms, and the use of low-power laser on wounds during the postoperative phase appears to influence the behavior of the repair process. An example of treatment: excision of cavernous angioma in the oral cavity healed after 20 days.
The introduction of computers and specific software in Radiology has been extremely useful and innovative.
These technologies have allowed a reduction in radiation dose administered to the patient, regarding both the RX intraoral (inside the mouth) and the orthopantomogram (dental panoramic view) compared to traditional analogue radiology, which develops the image on celluloid film.
Other advantages regard the immediate observation of radiographic images.
Immediacy of viewing the image on the computer is a significant clinical advantage. Images can be taken, immediately examined, deleted, corrected, enhanced and printed, which allows for a safer and more rapid diagnosis during the same dental visit.
In a modern, professionally equipped operating room, careful attention is given to disinfecting and sterilizing the medical instruments and equipment.
The sterilization room, specially equipped with ultrasonic cleaners, instrument washers, thermal disinfectors, and steam autoclaves for tools and fabrics. The sterilization process is done by a very attentive staff, who also store the wrapped instruments in special wall units with dust seals.
Moreover, autoclaves are equipped with a program that verifies the proper functioning of the device; the control test is printed and stored in special registers.
This is a way to ensure complete control over cross-infections, so the operating room is better and safer for patients and staff.
The computer has become an indispensable tool in modern medical practice. It’s used to collect personal data and complete patients’ medical history. It also makes it possible to interact between various professionals and dentists with ease. Practice management software helps generate charting treatment plans, schedule appointments, manage patient recall, and customize payment plans in a quick and effective way.
Another indisputable advantage, thanks to the dental CAD-CAM system, is the ability to provide complete or partial dental crown restorations in a single outpatient surgery.
Sophisticated software for the design of crowns or inlays combined with very precise milling systems are associated with computer numerical control systems for immediate restorations in the mouth. The use of the latest adhesive techniques allows you to obtain a desirable esthetic result in a timely manner on the patient’s first visit.
The orthodontic approach in impaired patients is possible thanks to modern CAD-CAM techniques. These techniques result in a faster diagnosis, but above all, the creation of 3D movies that allow visualization of orthodontic treatments and rehabilitation. Thanks to the use of transparent polycarbonate aligners, which contour and stabilize dental arches, it is possible to treat patients of all ages, that otherwise, with traditional techniques, would not be possible because of the aesthetic sacrifice.
The correct approach to children in the dental office must take place, in our professional opinion, very gradually. Young patients must be accompanied, from an early age, for a dental visit in the absence of pain, and should be taught proper dental care. It is important for dentists to establish a friendly relationship with children, to reduce patient fear and achieve efficient dental treatment. Children who have positive interactions with their dentist will be less likely to develop a fear of dentists and will experience less anxiety. As a result, they will be more likely to visit the dentist and will have better dental health.
Composite resins, or tooth-colored fillings, provide good durability and resistance to fracture in small-to-mid-size fillings that need to withstand moderate pressure from the constant stress of chewing.
Interceptive orthodontics prevents occlusal anomalies in children’s dental arches and helps to prevent diseases such as:
- tooth decay
- periodontal diseases (tissue supporting the teeth)
- Temporomandibular joint disorders
In our dental office, we pay particular attention to both the function and aesthetics of the stomatognathic system. We use modern and innovative technologies like laser instrumentation and CAD-CAM systems that allow you to achieve the best results in a short time and with greater predictability.
Factors that can promote tooth decay include a family predisposition, defects in teeth alignment, the presence of bad-fitting dentures and/or worn out fillings. (Fillings should be checked regularly by your dentist.)
The teeth most affected are the last in line, the molars, premolars and finally the canines and incisors.
Decay most often occurs in molars. These teeth have lots of grooves, pits and crannies that can collect food particles. Plaque can build and bacteria can thrive between your back teeth, producing the acid that destroys tooth enamel.
The therapeutic efficacy and its maintenance are closely related to proper oral hygiene by the patient. Our aim is to swap "bad" behavior with "good" behavior.
Children must learn the meaning of oral hygiene. For adults , it is often necessary to correct, at least partially, hygienic habits.
Dental cleanings are done by dentists or dental hygienists, who use specialized instruments to gently remove plaque (soft, sticky, bacteria infested film) and tartar (calculus) deposits that have built up on the teeth over time. The procedures are efficient and painless.
Periodontal Pocket Therapy is done with ultrasonic tools primarily made up of water and hydroxyapatite with biostimulation effects to reattach the gingival. The treatment described ensures that you can recover dental mobility with delicacy and asymptomatic.
Having a beautiful smile is a point of particular interest for patients because it is directly involved in interpersonal relations; a smile conveys confidence. Technicians use very sophisticated equipment for their diagnosis and their treatments to shorten working time and increase the quality of their services. The technology in dentistry, as in other branches of medicine, is increasingly more important.
In our dental office, we pay particular attention to both the function and aesthetics of the stomatognathic system. We use modern and innovative technologies like laser instrumentation and CAD-CAM systems that allow you to achieve the best results in a short time and with greater predictability.
